Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms govern your use of the ImageCrush website (imagecrush.io) and the ImageCrush macOS application (collectively, the “Service”), provided by Rocket 5 Studios Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

License

ImageCrush is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ImageCrush on one (1) Mac computer at a time. You may transfer your license to a different machine by deactivating it in Settings first.

You may not:

• Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the application
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the application for any unlawful purpose

Free Trial

ImageCrush includes a 7-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card or account is required. When the trial expires, export functionality is disabled until a license is purchased. All other features remain accessible.

Purchase & Payment

ImageCrush is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, recurring fees, or annual renewals. Payment is processed by Freemius, our authorized payment provider. Your license key is delivered via email after purchase. Pricing is listed on the website and may change, but any price change does not affect existing license holders.

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with ImageCrush, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@imagecrush.io. Refunds are processed through Freemius. After a refund, your license will be deactivated.

Updates

Your license includes free updates to ImageCrush for as long as the current version line is maintained. Updates are delivered automatically via Sparkle and can also be checked manually within the app. We reserve the right to charge for future major version upgrades, though existing functionality will continue to work without upgrading.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all images and files you process with ImageCrush. The app processes files locally on your Mac and does not upload, store, or access your content on any server. We claim no rights to your content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ImageCrush is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket 5 Studios Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using ImageCrush and delete all copies. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (warranties, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
